WSWA's stream monitoring efforts continue throughout the summer, this time off Jimstown Road, at the northern end of the Warm Springs Run. Swing by to see how it's done -- you won't be disappointed. Park on either side of the road, just after you enter Jimstown Road from Rt. 522.
WSWA continues monitoring the health of the stream, this time at Fairview Drive. From Rt.522, turn right on River Road, then take a right onto Fairview Drive. Park on the left, soon after entering Fairview Drive. (See map for where Fairview and the Warm Springs Run intersect, near the Potomac.)
Please feel free to attend and participate in our monthly board meetings.
WSWA will be maintaining the Greenway Cemetery's rain garden, an important "green way" indeed to reduce stormwater runoff. Feel free to drop by and share in some communal weeding and beautifying activities.
